A Personal Testimony, From Chronic Headaches to Relief My Experience with Cupping Therapy
I can’t say much, but the results are truly noticeable. The headaches I used to have every morning between 10.00–11.00 a.m., are now completely gone.
Of course, Allah is the One who heals, and this was also through the treatment at Bekam Batam, Ruqyah Batam, Bengkel Manusia Indonesia.
My name is Agus. I worked at a shipbuilding company in Singapore. Before undergoing cupping therapy, my headaches were extremely severe.
Whenever the headache came, I took painkillers—up to two strips (two packs) at a time.
Over time, I became worried because this had been going on for almost a year.
Coincidentally, I have a friend who had undergone cupping therapy. He did it at Bengkel Manusia.
I was quite surprised when he mentioned the name “Bengkel Manusia Indonesia”.
“Is there really a place called Bengkel Manusia?” I blurted out to my friend.
He told me that he used to suffer from headaches too, though not as severe as mine.
I just listened to his story. Honestly, it sounded a bit scary to hear about having the head cupped.
Understandably so, because I had never had cupping therapy before.
Besides, whenever I hear about blood, I start feeling dizzy. Maybe I’m just paranoid.
Then I asked him how many times he had done cupping, what tools were used, how the process worked, and so on.
He said he had done cupping several times and now routinely does it every month. I then asked for the address.
He told me it was in the Anggrek Sari, Batam Center City, Indonesia.
Because my headaches had lasted so long and felt strange to me, my curiosity grew.
After hearing my friend’s story, I couldn’t stop thinking about it.
Is it really true? That night, I tried opening the Bengkel Manusia website www.bekam.or.id and read through its contents.
After reading some of the articles, I began to feel scared, uneasy, and worried. There were words like incisions, blood, and so on.
Still, after reading several articles, my curiosity about cupping only grew stronger.
The next day, I called and asked for a detailed explanation. Eventually, I was told to come to the clinic.
Even upon arrival, I was still anxious, because anything involving blood really frightened me.
After about 20 minutes of discussion, I tried to convince myself.
Like it or not, I had to try it, because I didn’t want to keep suffering from these headaches.
Bismillah. Finally, I gathered the courage to undergo the therapy. I was asked to recite prayers and blessings upon the Prophet.
After the cups were applied for about three minutes, small incisions (scratches) were made.
To my surprise, it felt ticklish and itchy. It was actually pleasant.
The cups were then applied again for another three minutes. In the cupping bowls, dark, thick, and very dense blood collected.
Gradually, my body—which had felt heavy and stiff around the neck and shoulders—became lighter. I was able to take long, deep breaths.
My vision felt clearer. There was an extraordinary sense of comfort and relief that I had never experienced before.
I felt so relieved and comfortable. The cups were applied, suctioned, and the blood released several times.
My body felt lighter and better. My head, which had felt heavy before, became light.
It was completely different from how I felt before cupping. I felt cheerful and kept wondering how this could happen.
The cupping session lasted about 25 minutes. During the process, I was shown the contents of the cupping bowls several times.
I didn’t really understand the analysis. The grand master wet cupping (practitioner) told me that it was damaged red blood cells.
I just nodded, half-awake, feeling as though I was being gently lulled.
During the cupping, it felt as if something heavy in my body—my neck, back, and head—was being pulled out.
I even fell asleep briefly while sitting in the chair during the process.
After the session ended, I was woken up. “That was quick,” I said.
It turned out that all the fear and worry at the beginning were just in my imagination.
The fear and anxiety were only in my mind. Alhamdulillah, my headaches are now gone, and I am no longer dependent on medication.
That is my experience before and after cupping therapy. Alhamdulillah, I now do cupping regularly.
I also invite my family, friends, relatives, and anyone else to try cupping, because the results are truly proven and real.
